One more day

One more day.

Everyday, I pray for one more day;

One more day to spend my time with you
One more day to see your smile
One more day to hear you laugh
One more day to feel your touch
One more day to hug you tight
One more day to hold you dear
One more day to kiss you so.

Before that ONE day that you will leave me;
standing alone
sitting alone
eating alone
drinking alone
smiling alone
crying alone
lost ALL alone.

Till the VERY day when the sun will not shine on me again,
I hope to dry my tears, come what may.

The sun will still rise ONE MORE DAY,
but never will I get to see it again.
